GC schools will make up days

Three Putnam County schools will be in session on January 18 for Martin Luther King Day next week.

Greencastle Community schools will use that day plus President's Day as make-up days for the snow days they had last week.

Cloverdale and North Putnam schools already had students scheduled to be in school on Martin Luther King Day. North Putnam will make-up snow days on May 24 and 25.

Only South Putnam schools are set to have the day off. They had three snow days built into their schedule so will not have students attend on January 18.

Did u check until this Banner Graphic? South Putnam is in School on January 18! Check with South Putnam and correct this!!!!!

Any reason why the 4 county schools can't be on the same schedule?? It makes absolutely no sense to have them on entirely different schedules, does it? Don't the students that are in Area 30 and other programs that have them attending more than 1 school have to alter their schedules because of the difference? I live in Vigo county now, but grew up in Putnam county, and here all of our 29 schools are run by the same administration...and have the same schedules. Why is Putnam county all split up?

School is in session for South Put on Monday... they are sending a note home 4 parents to correct this..
