YES slated for Feb. 21

GREENCASTLE -- The Greencastle Youth Engagement Summit (YES) is a community development initiative that will focus on Greencastle's youth demographic -- ages 16 to 21 -- and identify their needs as both consumers and citizens. Greencastle YES will also create an avenue for continued youth engagement in city government.

Greencastle YES will culminate in a one-day interactive session with students from Greencastle High School, DePauw University and Ivy Tech Community College. Students will have the opportunity to network and dialogue with their peers on topics, including economic development, public safety, and visioning for the City of Greencastle.

The event will take place on Feb. 21 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Greencastle City Hall. Participants will be provided with lunch and refreshments.
