Frank A. Roche, 19, Greencastle, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 3:24 p.m. Thursday for violation of probation.

Cody S. Gibson, 24, Bainbridge, was booked at 3:31 p.m. Thursday for failure to appear.

Tony L. Burnham, 42, Cloverdale, was booked at 11:19 p.m. Thursday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, public intoxication and operating a vehicle per se.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

James P. Staley of Rockville was traveling on US 236 near Russellville at 6:55 a.m. Thursday, when he attempted a left turn onto CR 800W and lost control of his vehicle due to ice on the roadway.

His vehicle slid off the road and struck a wooden post. The reported stated Staley drove his vehicle from the scene, but later discovered minimal steering damage had been sustained from the collision.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to US 231N and Water Works Hill at 2:59 p.m. Thursday for an automobile accident. They were back in service at 3:43 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1142 E. CR 25S at 10:58 a.m. Friday for a lift assist. They were back in service at 11:21 a.m.
