David Earl Duff Sr., 65, of Greencastle died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at the Putnam County Hospital.

He was born in Lincoln County, Ky., the son of Earl L. and Eula M. Sandlin Duff.

Mr. Duff was a US Army Veteran and a member of the Greencastle Church of God. He was a laborer with Local 204.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara May Jones Duff of Greencastle; sons David Earl Duff Jr. and wife Carrie Elizabeth, Jarrod Michael Duff and wife Jennifer Diane and Corey Len Duff Sr. and wife Michelle Kay, all of Greencastle; 10 grandchildren, Gunnar Tip Duff, Tenzin Lakota Duff, Duke Logan-Hampton Duff, Jalyn Arica Duff, Alexis Kristine Duff, Corey Len Duff Jr., Chase Allen Duff, Gabriel Algan Duff, Nelliegh Claire Nichole Duff and Blake Duff; brothers Billy J. Duff and wife Joyce of Westchester, Ohio, Robert Alexander Duff and wife Mary Lou of Junction City, Ky., James Hiram Duff and wife Barbara of West Jefferson, Ohio, Eddy Duff and wife Cindy of Berea, Ky. and Jack Tolbert of Somerset, Ky.; and sisters Margaret Ann Burger of Danville, Ky. and Mary Elizabeth Sears and husband Bill of Gray, Ky.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home in Greencastle with the Rev. David J. Bard officiating. Burial will be in the veterans section of Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
