Ag Days photo entries sought

GREENCASTLE -- Entries for the 2010 Putnam County Ag Days Photo Contest are now being accepted.

Send or drop off farm photos to the Purdue-Putnam County Extension Office at 209 W. Liberty St., Rm. 5, by March 5.

The Ag Days Photo Contest is once again being sponsored by the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce and Wal-Mart Super Store. The top three winners will have their photos in the special Banner Graphic Ag Days section, and will receive a Wal-Mart Gift Card at the 2010 Ag Days Breakfast, which is scheduled for March 16.

Color or black and white photos are acceptable. Photos should be of farm and agricultural scenes and activities, and preferably taken in Putnam County. Do not send in photos in picture frames. Do include on the back of each photo entered a name, and contact number.

Entrants will be able to pick their original photos back up a the Extension Office after Ag Week, which is March 16 through 18.
