Putnam County Jail

Dana M. Trojan, 42, Greencastle, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 10:26 a.m. Wednesday for petition to revoke probation.

Gary D. King, 44, Greencastle, was booked at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday for non-support of a child.

Stephen D. Stewart, 24, Indianapolis, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday for theft, forgery and fraud.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

James D. Fiest of Fillmore was traveling on CR 700E near Greencastle at 6:10 a.m. Wednesday, when his vehicle struck a large snowdrift, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and go over an embankment.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Lee A. Boswell of Coatesville was traveling south on US 231 near Greencastle at 2:50 p.m. Feb. 5, when he attempted to avoid colliding with a vehicle traveling in front of him but lost control putting the vehicle into a spin.

A vehicle driven by Hezekiah D. Dotson of Reelsville was also traveling southbound and unable to avoid colliding with Boswell's vehicle, which was sideways in the roadway.

Steve's Wrecker Service towed Boswell's vehicle. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Tyler S. Bacidore of Vincennes was traveling on Interstate 70E at 4:51 a.m. Wednesday, when a semi tractor-trailer sideswiped his vehicle, forcing it to strike the guardrail. Bacidore's vehicle sustained "substantial" damage, the accident report stated.

The semi was unable to be located. Steeles' Wrecker Service towed Bacidore's vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Danielle Knoblett of Fillmore was traveling west on CR 25S near Greencastle at 5 p.m. Feb. 5, when she lost control of her vehicle due to the snow-covered road, causing it leave the roadway and strike a fence.

Knoblett's vehicle was not towed. There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.

Megan E. Winzeler of Evansville was approaching the intersection of US 231 and Washington Street at 2:14 p.m. Feb. 5, when she lost control of her vehicle due to the snow-covered road and struck the back of a vehicle driven by Randolph L. Seipel of Greencastle, which was stopped at the light.

There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 814 N. Jackson St. at 6:46 p.m. Monday, but were disregarded by Operation Life before leaving the station.

Crews were dispatched to 1128 Avenue D at 7:11 a.m. Tuesday for a lift assist. They were back in service at 7:36 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 111 Larabee St. at 2:56 p.m. Tuesday for an alarm. Nothing was found and they were back in service at 3:07 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1128 Avenue D at 8:03 p.m. for a lift assist. They were back in service at 8:19 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1128 Avenue D at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday for a lift assist. They were back in service at 3:15 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to City Hall, 1 N. Locust St., at 4:02 p.m. Wednesday to clean up an antifreeze spill. They were back in service at 4:15 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 403 E. Seminary St. at 12:16 a.m. Wednesday for an odor investigation. Nothing was found and they were back in service at 1:10 a.m.
