'Spring into spring' with Master Gardeners

Please come and join us on Saturday Feb 27 for a full day of Gardening programs. We have great speakers line up for this program. Trees by Pam Maus, Indian DNR, Weill Discuss how to pick a tree, planting the tree in the proper way, and caring for your tree, Indoor Gardening by Tom Commins, Owner of Apple House in Terre Haurt Indiana will provided information you need to know about caring for you indoor plants. Orchids by Roy Debates, Partner with Hilltop Orchids, Will tell you everything you need to know about caring for orchids. Vegetables Blights by Dan Engle , Extension Plant Pathologist, Southwest Purdue Agriculture Centers, will Discussed different types of Blights and how to prevent them and treat for them. Cucumbers and Pickling by Keith Archer, Greencastle Indiana will Lead a " hands On " presentation , Showing how to pick the proper cucumber and how to process it for pickling. There will also be some venders their to cater to all of your Gardening needs and also there will be giveaways and door prizes. A great program to help chase away the cabin fever and start looking forward to the spring. This program is open to the public as well and Master Gardener. Breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fee of $35 60$ for registrant and spouse before February 12, 2010 After Feb.12, 2010 registration is $40 and $70 for registrant and spouse. Adventure in backyard fruit production

This series offers current and aspiring backyard fruit growers the opportunity to learn from the experts about ways to increase the success and satisfaction of quality fruit production in their home landscape as well as ways to store, preserve and prepare the fruits of their labors.

March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 19:30a.m.--11:30 a.m. EST Registration Fee:$50/person-- for all sessions or $15/person/individual session(Includes all handouts and resource materials)Please add $10/person late fee after 2/26/10.
