Beulah A. Scott, 82, of Greencastle, formerly of Roachdale, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at the Putnam County Hospital.

Born March 19, 1927 in Ollie, Ky., she was the daughter of Lewis Clay and Mattie Frances Manion Webb.

She married Paul Scott on Aug. 30, 1947 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 2000.

Mrs. Scott had been a homemaker and was a member of the Hanna St. Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Proctor and husband Mark of Duluth, Ga., Vicki Evans and husband Russ of Greencastle, Paul Scott Jr. and wife Jan of Brazil, South America, Mattie Clark and husband Floyd of Danville, Carolyn Robbins and husband David of Danville; a sister, Lola Hughes and husband Richard of Wala Wala, S.C.; two brothers, Joe Webb and wife Pat of Bainbridge and Henry Webb of Evansville; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister, three brothers and two infant grandsons.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Hanna St. Baptist Church, Greencastle with Pastor Patrick Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Roachdale Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
