Dennis Lee Johnson, 47, formerly of Cloverdale, died on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Danville, Ill.
He was born July 4, 1962 in Indianapolis and was the son of David William Johnson and Joyce Ann Duncan Johnson.
He was an artist, member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Greencastle and a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved spending time with his family and fishing.
He is survived by his parents, Dave and Joyce Johnson of Cloverdale; son Jerry Grimes of Evansville; sisters Pam Bowman and husband Jamie of Greencastle and Angie Haltom and husband Rob of Quincy; brothers Keith Johnson and wife Lori of Quincy; Greg Johnson and wife Karen of Santa Claus and David Johnson and wife JaDeen of Greenwood; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Greencastle with Father Stephen Jarrell officiating. Calling will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Burial will be in the Mannan Cemetery.
