AnnaBelle Jean Nichols

AnnaBelle Jean Nichols, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, of Greencastle, passed away, Monday, March 15, 2010, at the Putnam County Hospital.

She was born Jan. 19,1925 in Lawrence County. She Married James R. "Bob" Nichols on September 13, 1947, and they lived 57 years on their Dairy, and Quarter Horse Farm.

Bob preceded her in death on Sept.15, 2004, as well as her parents, and sister Polly "Marilyn" Gorbett.

She is survived by her beloved children, Larry R. (Becky) Nichols of Fort Wayne, Judy A. Tincher of Plainfield and Gene R. Nichols of Greencastle; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters Ruby Toliver and son Mark and Georgia (Bob) Reid of Worthington; brothers Van (Jean) Holsapple, John (Pat) Holsapple, Marion (Gwen) Holsapple and Eldon (Betty) Holsapple; and her many beloved nephews, nieces and their families.

Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle with graveside services at the Fillmore Cometary at approximately 1 p.m.
