Donald L. Kinder

Donald L. Kinder, 71, Poland, formerly of Indianapolis and Mooresville, died Friday, March 19, 2010.

Mr. Kinder was born June 25, 1938 in Mitchell and was the son of the late Roy and Golda Blackwell Kinder.

After serving in the Navy, he spent 33 and a half years working at Eli Lilly. Upon retiring in 1993, he moved near Cataract Lake, where he enjoyed hunting and crappie fishing and became known for his fishing skills.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Brinkoetter Kinder; daughters, Donita Munro and Jane (David) Collisi; stepdaughters, Tammy (Ron) Rose and Julie (Ron) Nagel; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and sister Vera Slayton.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mitchell Cemetery, Mitchell.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
