Larry E. Porter

Larry E. Porter, 68, Greencastle, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at his home.

Mr. Porter was born Dec. 31, 1941 in Greencastle, as the son of Harry M. and Margaret Miller Porter.

He is a 1960 graduate of Greencastle High School. He worked for IBM for 25 years and then Depauw University.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kay Cox Porter; two daughters, Corena Lancaster and her husband Rick of Greencastle and Sherald Adamiec and her husband Bob of Duluth, Minn.; four grandchildren, Zachary and Nicholas Lancaster and Kathleen and Diana Adamiec; two great-grandchildren, Bailee and Caleb Lancaster

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle with the Rev. Hallie Taylor officiating.

There will be no visitation.
