Putnam County Jail

Joaquin D. Freire, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 8:55 a.m. Thursday for petition to revoke probation.

James Webb, 46, Cloverdale, was booked at 1:50 p.m. Thursday for petition to revoke probation.

Carlos S. Rodrigues, 23, Columbus, Ohio, was booked at 4:33 a.m. Friday for furnishing false evidence of identity and operating a motor vehicle after never receiving a license.

Michael J. Lukenbill, 27, Roachdale, was booked at 3:20 p.m. Friday for possession of marijuana.

Joel B. Medina, 40, Yuma, Ariz., was booked at 4:27 p.m. Friday for writ of body attachment and non-support of a child.

Randy L. Sweet, 49, Bainbridge, was booked at 7:56 p.m. Friday for criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and resisting law enforcement.

Brandon S. McKee, 21, Reelsville, was booked at 3:49 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

James C. Eiseman Jr., 23, Cloverdale, was booked at 12:34 a.m. Sunday for failure to appear.

Levi B. Hirsch, 24, Coatesville, was booked at 4:24 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Jeremy R. Little, 22, Fillmore, was booked at 12:27 a.m. Monday for violation of probation.

Hilda E. Freeman, 45, was booked at 5:02 p.m. Monday for public intoxication.

Victoria L. Brock, 34, Coatesville, was booked at 10:20 a.m. Monday for check deception.

Curtis D. Bass, 46, Greencastle, was booked at 11:03 a.m. Monday for interfering with a screening test and violation of probation.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Juanita L. Smith of Cloverdale was traveling east on Columbus Street in Cloverdale at 3:52 p.m. Monday, when a vehicle driven by Keirsten A. Duncan of Cloverdale backed into the street from a parking lot and struck her vehicle.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Christine Saylor of Greencastle was backing into a parking space at 1542 Bloomington St. at 6:10 p.m. March 31, when her vehicle struck a parked vehicle registered to Angela G. Daudy of Quincy.

There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.

Douglas Yates of Greencastle was traveling south on US 231N at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, when he struck the back of a vehicle driven by George Edendfield of Greencastle, which was stopped to make a left turn onto CR 285S.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed both vehicles from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Richard L. Kennedy of Lafayette was traveling south on US 231N at 6:45 a.m. Monday, when a vehicle traveling north crossed the center line, causing Kennedy to swerve and lose control of his vehicle. Kennedy's vehicle then went over an embankment and into a ditch.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Mariah F. Speedy of Cloverdale was traveling US 40E near Fillmore at 11:31 a.m. Thursday, when she struck the back of a vehicle driven by Joseph P. Rowe of Brazil.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Joseph A. Reeves of Heltonville was traveling on US 231N near Brick Chapel at 6:21 a.m. Monday, when his vehicle struck a deer. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages. AAA towed his vehicle from the scene.

Dustin P. Thornburg of Russellville was traveling on SR 236E at 6:15 a.m. Friday, when his vehicle struck a deer. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Jackie H. Smith of Quincy was traveling on US 231N near Cloverdale, when he backed into a vehicle driven by Ryan A. Weber of Indianapolis.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Daniel S. Newton of Center Point was traveling south on CR 725W at 7 p.m. Thursday, when his 2009 Chevrolet pick-up truck ran over a phone cable lying in the road, causing it to tangle in the rear axle. The cable flipped up, struck the bed of the truck and broke the back window.

There was less than $750 estimated in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 636 E. Washington St. at 4:37 p.m. Saturday for a structure fire. When they arrived, crews found burnt food on the stove. They were back in service at 4:57 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 208 E. Olive St. at 2:11 p.m. Sunday for a fire alarm. They were back in service at 2:50 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Indianapolis Road and 10th Street at 4:11 p.m. Sunday for a motor vehicle versus a motorcycle accident. They were in service at 4:33 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 113 W. Berry St. at 10:54 p.m. Sunday for a gas odor. Nothing was found and they were back in service at 11:14 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1230 N. Jackson St. at 11:54 a.m. Monday for a motor vehicle accident. They were back in service at 12:16 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Citgo, 1207 S. Bloomington St., at 2:31 p.m. Monday, when a gas hose ruptured while a customer was pumping gas. They were back in service at 2:40 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to assist police with command vehicles at 2:38 a.m. Tuesday. They were back in service at 7:08 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to assist Operation Life with a fall at Robe-Ann Park at 11:19 a.m. Tuesday. They were back in service at 11:38 a.m.
