Jonathan Ray Herrick, 53, of Cloverdale died Friday, April 2, 2010 at his residence.
Born April 19, 1956, he was the son of Alfred Andrew Herrick and Shirley Joan Herrick. He married Julie Marcean Strother on Jan. 1, 1988, and she survives. He was a graduate of Rockville High School and a graduate of Ivy Tech College.
Jon was well known in Putnam and Hendricks counties. Jon was a computer consultant and programmer. Jon was a sucessful liver transplant patient on Aug. 3, 2007 at IU Hospital in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife; mother; mother in-law; children Billee Leath, Jay Rinberger, Gena Rinberger, Christopher Rivers, Amber Rivers, Elizabeth Herrick and Robert Herrick; sister Suzann Walker and husband Jeff; grandchildren Rachel Lyn and Jonathan Leath, Kody and Terry Lee Rinberger and Cole and Cameran Rivers; nieces and nephews; brothers Bobby Hamm, George, Michael and Eric; and sister Paula.
He was preceded in death by his father and best friend William Strother.
Memorial services will be held at the Healing Streams Revival Church at 1 p.m. Saturday. The church is located at 6977 West U.S. 36, Danville. It is on the corner of U.S. 36 and S.R. 75 at the blinking light.
