NPMS battles Cadets, Bulldogs

The North Putnam Middle School boys' track team faced Cascade and Monrovia last week. The Cougars fell to Cascade 68-41 and Monrovia 62-47.

Against Cascade, Jensen Conlin was first in the shot put and the discus, while Coy Flynn was first in the 400, and second in the 100 and the 200. Cole Dean recorded a first-place finish in the 110 hurdles and was third in the high jump.

Tucker Lowe was second in the 110 hurdles and the 400, with Drew Bottorf placing third in the 110 hurdles. Aaron Wesley was third in the long jump, and the 200. Jacob Riggen was first in the 800 for the Cougars.

In the Monrovia meet, Conlin was first again in the shot put and discus, with Lowe finishing second in the 400 and third in the 110 hurdles. Flynn was second in the 100 and Jacob Riggen was first in the 800. Trebor Mason chipping in a third place finish in the 100 and a second in the 200, while Dean was second in the 110 hurdles and Aaron Smith was second in the discus.

Sebastian Gladdish was third in the discus for the Cougars, Warren was second in the shot put and Brandon Hall was second in the long jump.
