South Putnam tennis falls to Edgewood

The South Putnam tennis team came up short against Edgewood Thursday 3-2.

The Eagles were able to scored wins at No. 1 singles as Megan Klotz defeated Hannah Douglas 7-5 and 6-2, and at No. 3 single with Kendra Latham defeating Samantha Lewis 6-1 and 6-4.

South Putnam's junior varsity team picked up two wins. The team of Robbie Urton and Aya Ishida and individual player Caitlyn Boyce accounted for the South Putnam wins.

The Eagles will host Southmont Monday at 6 p.m.
