GHS softball crushes Rockville, 7-4

The Greencastle softball team gained its second win of the season by defeating Rockville 7-4 Thursday.

Riley Seahorn was 4-for-4 at the plate for GHS, while Erin Beck was 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Jessie Bennett was 2-for-4 with a run scored and one RBI, with Kaytlynn Beaman was 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Kayla Downing chipped in a 2-for-4 with two RBIs performance and Mallory Miller was 2-for-3. Jordyn Lewis recorded a double, Kay Woods had two runs and Ellen Gobert had a run scored. Kandice Phillips and Kayla Nobles had a hit for GHS.

The Tiger Cubs will travel to Danville today at 10 a.m.
