The South Putnam Community Education Foundation held its annual meeting April 16. Pictured are, from left, Drew Cash receiving the Wildman Leadership Scholarship, Shelby Hacker receiving the South Putnam Education Foundation Scholarship and Tiffany Dickson, who received a $750 teacher grant to assist the math department to better equip and educate those students in the junior high math lab. The South Putnam Quarterback Club provides the Wildman Scholarship. The foundation has presented nearly $10,000 in scholarships and teacher grants during its existence. It continues to seek members and donors to increase the impact on the education at South Putnam Schools. Look for foundation members at the Putnam County Fair delivering bags of ice to everyone wanting to support them.
