E. Ann Beaman

E. Ann Beaman, 76, formerly of Plainfield, died peacefully in Muncie after an extended illness on Tuesday, April 27, 2010.

She was born in Indianapolis on Sept. 22, 1933. She retired from the Indiana Boys School in 1992.

Ann was a loving and wonderful mother and is survived by her son J. Mark Beaman of Muncie; daughter Laura A. McHugh and husband Kevin of Athens, Ga.; and two wonderful grandsons, Michael K. McHugh and Daniel C. McHugh.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Lester E. Beaman, who was the love of her life; and two sisters, Jean Lile and Roberta Anderson.

She was raised in Putnam County by a loving Aunt Dovie G. Taylor and Uncle Wm. Cecil Taylor from the age of four, after the death of her mother, Hildegard L. Taylor.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour before at 10 a.m. at Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will follow at Croy's Creek Cemetery.
