Putnam County Jail

Edward Carter, 21, Indianapolis, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 2:11 p.m. Monday for possession of marijuana.

Andrew Fenner, 21, Peebles, Ohio, was booked at 10:45 a.m. Monday for violation of probation.

Hilda E. Freeman, 45, Martinsville, was booked at 2:14 a.m. Wednesday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.

Paul M. Hurley, 23, Fillmore, was booked at 11:14 p.m. Friday for domestic battery.

Tia Maria Kirchner, 25, Greencastle, was booked at 4:15 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Brandon L. Lewis, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 11:24 p.m. Saturday for criminal mischief.

Janise M. Merriweather, 43, Indianapolis, was booked at 12:04 p.m. Monday for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

Michael S. Rady, 27, Indianapolis, was booked at 12:46 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication.

Randy R. Rogers, 43, Reelsville, was booked at 1:04 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle without receiving a license and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Carl E. Setty, 68, Cloverdale, was booked at 10:54 p.m. Tuesday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.

George A. Stone, 46, Cloverdale, was booked at 9:27 p.m. Tuesday for theft.

Timothy A. Thurston, 38, Avon, was booked at 12:55 am. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Joseph P. Vandermark, 26, Indianapolis, was booked at 11:31 a.m. Monday for failure to appear.

Earl L. Wessel, 36, no city listed, was booked at 9:07 p.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.

Lisa A. Woodall, 41, Greencastle, was booked at 1:42 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Kandace M. Sharpee of Cloverdale was traveling south on SR 42 at 6:55 p.m. Monday, when she was "waived to stop by a subject in the other lane" and a vehicle operated by Kandi R. Collins of Cloverdale struck the back of her vehicle.

Steele's Wrecker Service towed Collins' vehicle. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Greg A. Rothrock of Greenwood was traveling east on SR 36 near Bainbridge at 7:46 a.m. Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and struck a tree on the passenger side of his vehicle.

Rothrick was unresponsive to verbal commands, the accident report stated. Operation Life transported him to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.

Kenny's Wrecker Service towed his vehicle. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Randoulph E. Dodge of Greencastle was traveling east on CR 125S at 4:43 p.m. Saturday, when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a speed limit sign and a utility pole. The vehicle continued to travel east, spun into a residential driveway and struck a bush and fence before crashing into a second vehicle, which fled the scene.

There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Greencastle Police Department

Sherry Lester of Coatesville was traveling west on Indianapolis Road at 2:35 pm. Tuesday when a vehicle operated by Patricia Tobin of Coatesville struck the back of her vehicle, while she was waiting to make a right turn.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

The following ticket has been issued by GPD:

Cynthia Beard, 51, Greenfield, was stopped on Veterans Memorial Highway at 9 a.m. Tuesday and cited for speeding -- 62 mph in a 40 mph zone.
