Putnam County Jail

Wesley A. Baker, 28, Roachdale, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 6:55 p.m. Friday for resisting law enforcement and violation of probation.

Joshua A. Castetter, 25, Clinton, was booked at 4:14 p.m. Friday for violation of probation.

Karen A. Collins, 47, Poland, was booked at 1 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.

Lyle J. Dewey, 36, Cloverdale, was booked at 1:55 a.m. Friday for possession of a controlled substance.

Christopher C. Harbaugh, 18, Poland, was booked at 11 p.m. Sunday for possession of marijuana.

Harry R. Leak, 40, Ocklawaha, Fla., was booked at 10:08 p.m. Friday for nonsupport of a dependent.

Lawrence B. Miller, 35, Coatesville, was booked at 2 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with prior, habitual traffic offender and public intoxication.

Bradley J. Powell, 19, Poland, was booked at 11 p.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, public intoxication, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Joaquin P. Tejada, 32, Memphis, Tenn., was booked at 2:48 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication.

Ricardo P. Velasquez, 32, Memphis, was booked at 2:48 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.

Nicholas E. Wolford, 39, Greencastle, was booked at 3 a.m. Friday for domestic battery.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Thomas E. James of Fishers was traveling on US 36W at 6:18 a.m. Saturday, when his vehicle struck a deer.

Kara Knapp of Cloverdale was traveling south on CR 25W near Greencastle at 6:55 p.m. May 5, when she attempted to adjust her radio and caused her vehicle to run off the road. She overcorrected and her vehicle struck a utility pole.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed her vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Raymond Finchum of Mooresville was traveling on US 231S at 2:50 p.m. Saturday, when his vehicle struck the back of a vehicle operated by Bobby Henry of Cloverdale. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Charlette Vincent of Cloverdale was traveling on US 231S in Cloverdale at 1:45 p.m. May 7, when her vehicle struck a parked vehicle. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Andrew K. Ensor of Greencastle was traveling on CR 100S at 8:15 a.m. April 30, when he lost control of his vehicle due to a tire blow out and went over an embankment. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Crews were dispatched to 414 S. Indiana St. at 9:28 p.m. May 6 for an active alarm. They were back in service at 9:35 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 402 Anderson St. at 2:17 a.m. May 7, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 2:19 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 225 S. Bloomington St. May 7 for an alarm due to cooking.

Crews were dispatched to Roachdale at 1:32 p.m. May 7 for the command center during a police manhunt. They were back in service at 4:48 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Arlington Street and Shadowlawn Avenue at 10:45 p.m. May 7 for an arching power line. They were back in service at 11:08 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 414 S. Indiana St. at 1:13 a.m. May 8, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 1:16 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 642 E. Walnut St. at 3:51 a.m. May 8 for arching power equipment due to a broken cover from a dryer. They were back in service at 4:07 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 211 W. Walnut St. at 3:54 p.m. May 8, but were disregarded en route. They were back in service at 4:02 p.m.

Crews were dispatched 509 S. Locust St. at 12:46 a.m. Sunday for an unauthorized burn. It was extinguished and they were back in service at 1:04 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 208 E. Olive St. at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 1:23 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Walmart SuperCenter at 6:38 p.m. Sunday for a blown transformer. They were back in service at 8:33 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 508 S. Jackson St. at 4:15 a.m. Monday for a fire alarm. Nothing was found and they were back in service at 4:29 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to Houck Bridge at 12:53 p.m. Monday for a fire. The blaze was extinguished and they were back in service at 1:43 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 208 E. Olive St. at 2:32 p.m. Monday, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 2:35 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1105 N. Jackson St. at 7:41 p.m. Monday for an alarm malfunction. They were back in service at 8:15 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 208 E. Olive St. at 10:27 p.m. Monday for an alarm. It was reset and they were back in service at 10:40 p.m.
