Eagles record 19th win of the season

The South Putnam softball team defeated Greencastle 6-3 Tuesday on the road.

Mattie Varvel pitched a complete game, allowing four hits and three strikeouts.

Krystal Welch was 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored, while Emily Dabkowski was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Jenny Thompson went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored.
