GREENCASTLE -- Mill Pond Health Campus was named one of the 2010 Best Places to Work (BPTW) in Indiana in the large-sized company category. The rankings were announced on May 6 at the Indiana Chamber Awards Dinner held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
The company was also named a Best Place to Work in Indiana in 2009.
The BPTW awards program was created in 2006 and is a project of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, BizVoice, Inside Indiana Business, the Indiana Youth Institute, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Best Companies Group. It honors the top companies in the state, as determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys.
"We are honored to be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana," said Randy Bufford, President and CEO of Trilogy Health Services. "This award is a reflection of our employees' compassionate commitment to our mission of providing 'world class' customer service for our residents, their families and the communities in which we operate. I am honored and truly humbled to work with this outstanding group of professionals."
John Eckman, VP of Human Resources for Trilogy, added, "We are proud to accept this prestigious recognition as a tribute to our servant leadership culture and the many great employees that embrace the Trilogy values throughout our organization. This award has inspired our entire group to continue to focus on achieving remarkable service and being the best we can be at all times. We have worked to create an environment where people love to come to work. That kind of atmosphere, coupled with a dedicated group of employees who have a passion for their work makes a big difference. We are very proud of this accomplishment and of our team."
The 2009 Best Places to Work in Indiana list is made up of 28 companies in the small/medium-sized list (25 to 249 employees) and 42 companies in the large-sized (250 or more employees) list. Out-of-state parent companies were eligible to participate if at least 25 full-time employees are in Indiana.
Trilogy Health Services was recognized earlier this year as the No. 2 Best Place to Work in Kentucky at the Awards Banquet held in Lexington, Ky. It was the third consecutive year for the company to receive recognition as a Best Place to Work in the small to medium employer category in Kentucky. The company has also been named a Best Employer in Ohio for 2009, and was recognized as No. 14 Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare Magazine in 2009. The Best Companies Group, which handled the selection process in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, oversees similar programs in 17 other states.
