Shirley Ann Games, 72, of Bainbridge passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010.
She was born on April 30, 1938 to Jesse and Anna Evelyn Carpenter Rapp. After her father's death, she was raised by her mother, Anna Evelyn Carpenter York and Chester York.
Mrs. Games was a member of Roachdale Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Kenneth D. Games; children Michael Games and wife Sandy, Terry Games, Mary Games, Bruce Games and wife Melissa, Jeff Games, Susan Clark and husband Garry and Kathy Westgate; a brother, Gene Parrish and wife Norma; sisters-in-law Violet Parrish and Frances Parrish; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jim Parrish, Ora Parrish, Frances Cassida, Betty Lawrence, Margaret Jones; and a granddaughter, Megan Games.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hopkins--Rector Funeral Home, with Chaplain Thomas Buford officiating. Burial will follow at New Maysville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
