Friends of the Park Association and the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department recently partnered with Area 30 Career Center landscaping students to reinvent the Greencastle Aquatic Center landscape at Robe-Ann Park. Under the direction of Area 30 landscaping instructor Kami Hyde, the students were challenged to reconfigure the landscape by using the already existing plants. The students dug, divided and trimmed plantings to create a much more maintenance friendly property. The students also created a pictorial landscape maintenance book.
