The team went from a 1-13 record last season to a 14-0 undefeated winning record in 2010.

The 13 Cougar players won the division tournament defeating Cloverdale and Greencastle teams.

"These kids were successful in May and June because of the work they did in March and April, before the season started," head coach Greg Lyons said. "We practiced 15 times, many of them lasting three hours or more, before we played our first game.

"Winning games, trophies, and championships are great, but teaching kids that through hard work all things are possible is the essence of youth sports", Lyons added.

NPYBL President Tim Davis stated that "this team has a lot of heart, determination, spirit, motivation and great leadership."

The NPYBL is proud of each of these players for their representation of youth baseball in Bainbridge.

The NPYBL would like to thank all the parents and fans for their outstanding support throughout the season.
