Janet M. Skinner Karr, 64, of Clayton passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Hendricks Regional Health.
She was born Nov. 27, 1945 near North Salem, the daughter of John and Lavina Mae Morgan Hall.
She had been employed at Industrial Hydraulics in Indianapolis for five years and Berkel Inc. in Indianapolis for 15 years, both as a secretary. She also worked for the Plainfield Walmart store for 10 years.
She was a member of Clayton Christian Church and a 1963 graduate of Clayton High School.
Survivors include her sons Chris Skinner of Mooresville and John "Dan" Karr of Moorseville; sisters Juanita (Bob) Mayfield of Reelsville, Jenny Spangler of Clayton and Jerrie Sue Huffman of Cloverdale; brother Johnnie (Barb) Hall of Quincy and Jeff (Kim) Hall of Dickson City, Penn.; grandchildren Crystal, Shonda, Danielle, Jennifer, Brittany, Zachary, Amber, Jessica, Danielle, Anne and Logan; and great-grandchildren Aiden, Ashtyn, Religh, McKenzie, Trinity and Kaine.
Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Weaver and Randolph Funeral Home in Clayton with Dan French officiating. Burial will follow at Clayton Cemetery.
Calling will be from 3 p.m. to the time of service.
