She was born on May 13, 1941 in Indianapolis to Millard Darrah and Ina Ingram Darrah.
Mrs. Workman retired from Naval Avionics and had worked at Putnam County Hospital and Wal-Mart in Greencastle.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Ronald L. Workman; children, Kim Burney, Sheila Holloway and husband Scott and Mark Workman and wife Kristi; sister Sandy Young; brother James Darrah; grandchildren Sabrina Weddell, Stephanie Gillihan, Derek White, Sarah Holloway, Trenton Workman, Devon Workman and Savanna Workman; great-grandchildren Kaden Weddell, Kaleb Weddell and Cole Waggoner; and her beloved dog Sassy.
Mrs. Workman was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Dorothy Sweazy, Jackie Suddith and Betty Enlow; and three brothers, Edward Darrah, Millard Darrah Jr. and Donald Darrah.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Workman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
