Grover Franklin Morgan, 94, of Roachdale died at his residence on Saturday, June 19, 2010.

He was born on May 20, 1916 to Charles Ira and Clara Almetta Ruby Morgan at Brownstown, Ill.

He was a member of the Roachdale Christian Church and worked as a farmer all his life.

He married Wavie Mae Ratcliff on Dec. 19, 1940 in Lena, and she survives. Other survivors include one daughter Mrs. Gerry (Marilyn Kay) Blades of Crawfordsville; two sons Carl Morgan of Waveland, and Richard (Carol) Morgan of Greencastle; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; two sisters Rosetta Hart of Surprise, Ariz. and Mrs. Curtis (Thelma) Pope of Ocala, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was one son Charles William Morgan, four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Roachdale Christian Church at 1 N. Walnut Street, Roachdale with the Rev. Glen McFarland officiating. Burial will be at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville

Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
