Parkfest moves to Gobin for BCB show

Monday, June 28, 2010

GREENCASTLE -- Parkfest will continue this week with another 7 p.m. Tuesday performance, but not in its usual location.

As has become tradition, the Tuesday performance before July 4 will not be at the Robe-Ann Park bandshell, but will move to Gobin United Methodist Church as the Brazil Concert Band performs a selection of music in tune with the season.

BCB director Matthew S. Huber has promised an evening of "the grandest of patriotic favorites" as Independence Day approaches.

Like all editions of Parkfest, the concert is slated to run for an hour from 7 to 8 p.m.

Additionally, the Tuesday farmer's market at Robe-Ann Park will also run from 5 to 8 p.m.
