PJ Kelley begins making his one-of-a-kind fireworks T-shirt during the Putnam County Museum's fireworks fling program. Children learned about the history of Independence Day and why there are fireworks on the Fourth of July then used squirt bottles filled with various colors of dye to create a unique T-shirt to wear all year long. The museum's next summer program will be The Reintroduction of the Bald Eagle in Indiana with Vicki Albietz, interpretative naturalist for Lieber State recreational area and Cataract Falls. The program will be from 4 to 5 p.m. July 14 and is open to all ages.
