Calico Dream

GREENCASTLE -- Nearly 200 teens came out Thursday to Robe-Ann Park for the first summer concert for teens only.

The Parks Department was so please that this is a must to repeat.

While the original lineup had been local favorites TGL with Asteria, the latter band could not attend due to a conflict.

However, TGL member Zach Stewart invited the Calico Dream to participate as the opening act. Calico Dream features Greencastle resident Ryan Puett on lead vocals and guitar. Other band members are Dustin Weddle on lead guitar and backup vocals, Justin Tolland on bass and Ian Inman on drums.

Calico Dream's debut album "Holy Dirt" is due out this fall.

And of course, hometown band TGL reunited for the show. Featuring local boys Stewart, Will Cath and John Stewart as well as Boyd Lewis.

TGL played an evening of its original tunes, and even a slight sprinkle couldn't drive away the crowd from staying to the final song.
