Putnam County Jail

Brandi M. Behning, 23, Indianapolis, was booked at 3:54 p.m. Monday for failure to appear.

Delbert E. Boswell Jr., 36, Cloverdale, was booked at 12:40 a.m. Friday for violation of probation.

Joseph A. Hagan, 20, Indianapolis, was booked at 9:45 p.m. Saturday on a warrant issued out of Marion County.

Todd R. McDaniel, 23, Albuquerque, NM, was booked at 6:30 p.m. Sunday for operating while intoxicated with prior.

Ashley N. Osborne, 29, Cloverdale, was booked at 2:45 a.m. Friday for violation of home detention.

Matthew R. Parrish, 36, Bainbridge, was booked at 8:24 p.m. Saturday for contempt of court.

Ryan M. Powell, 36, London, Ohio, was booked at 8:24 p.m. Saturday for disorderly conduct, failure to identify, resisting law enforcement and possession of paraphernalia.

Jeramiah L. Reed, 23, Plainfield, was booked at 3:03 p.m. Sunday for theft.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Judith M. Scheer of Greencastle was traveling on U.S. 40W at 12:58 p.m. Monday, when her vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of US 231, due to the sun being in her eyes. Scheer's vehicle struck a northbound vehicle driven by Lori A. Larsen of Terre Haute.

Scheer was transported to Putnam County Hospital with chest pains. Seniours Wrecker Service towed both vehicles from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

David L. Piper of Brazil was traveling on CR 550N near Greencastle at 2:40 a.m. Monday, when he fell asleep while driving. His vehicle left the roadway at a curve and struck a power pole, which broke at the top.

Piper was treated and released at the scene. Jerry's Wrecker Service towed his vehicle. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.
