Janet S. Archer of Reelsville reported a dark-colored SUV attempted to pass her vehicle while traveling on US 40W at 1:34 p.m. July 22 and struck the back-left corner panel of her vehicle.

Ryan Purkiser of Plainfield ran into the back of a 1997 Chevy Venture registered to and driven by Eldon Wheeler of Coatsville at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Indianapolis Road and Veteran's Memorial Highway.

No injuries were reported. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

James W. Tincher of Greencastle was stopped in traffic for a stop light at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Bloomington and Washington streets when Joseph R. Pilkin of Greencastle struck Tincher from behind.

Pilkin reported that his brakes did not appear to have been working properly when he applied them to stop.

Khadija Tincher, a passenger in Tincher's vehicle, complained of back pain. There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.

Julia Landry of Fillmore was backing from a parking space at 7:11 p.m. July 21 at 191 U.S. 231 North when she was struck by a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban that Wesley Wilson of Greencastle had stopped.

Landry reported she could not see the other vehicle, while Wilson reported that he attempted to back out of the way but could not in time to avoid the collision.

No injuries were reported. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Larry Stinson of Ponder, Texas was stopped in traffic at the intersection of Jackson and Frazier streets when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Kyle Myers of Flat Rock, Ind. at 8:12 p.m.

Myers reported that he did not see Stinson's vehicle stopped in traffic and could not get stopped in time to prevent himself from striking the other vehicle.

No injuries were reported. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.
