GREENCASTLE -- After a two-week hiatus, Parkfest will be back in the Robe-Ann Park bandshell with a show from Lutherans on Bluegrass.

As always, the show runs from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Lutherans on Bluegrass is a six-member band that started as a group of church members just getting together to play music for fun.

The group began performing at their home church in 2008 and has been blessed with the ability to share their love for bluegrass, and their love for Christ through the bluegrass-gospel songs that are performed.

All members are from St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Plainfield, which is how the name "Lutherans" on Bluegrass was founded.

St. Stephen's has designated the second Sunday of every month as "Bluegrass Sunday," where all the music for the service is bluegrass-gospel performed by the band. This is the second appearance for the band at the Parkfest.

The concert will once again coincide with the Tuesday evening farmer's market at Robe-Ann Park, which runs from 5 to 8 p.m.
