Greencastle Police Department

* Aug. 26, 2:35 p.m.: Matthew D. Dooley, 22, Rockville, was responding to a call in a 2009 Chevrolet ambulance owned by Putnam County Operation Life from the parking lot of Headley Hardware. The ambulance struck the rear bumper of an unoccupied 1999 Chevrolet Blazer owne by Jeffery Watson of Russellville, causing minor damage.

Damage estimate $751 to $1,000.

* Aug. 27, 8:53 a.m.: Robert J. Gammon, 52, Taylor Mill, Ky., was driving a 2004 Subaru at Fawn View Ln. and Deer Field Dr., when his vision was affected by the glare of the sun, and he turned left in front of the 1995 Eagle driven by Joseph Lenihan, 17, Greencastle. Lenihan advised Gammon turned in front of him and he was unable to stop.

Gammon's vehicle was towed by Seniour's. Lenihan's vehicle was towed by Jerry's. Damage estimate $5,001-$10,000.
