Jaimi Marie Kelly

Jaimi Marie Kelly, 44, of Spencer passed away at her residence on Aug. 25, 2010.

She was born on March 29, 1966 in Putnam County and was the daughter of George and Donna Fisher Cox.

She was a 1984 graduate of South Putnam High School and was baptized at Peace Lutheran Church, Greencastle, on Sept. 4, 1966.

Jaimi was a project coordinator for GTE-Verizon in Westlake, Texas and Terre Haute.

She married Roy Marcus Kelly on Sept. 4, 1998 and he survives. In addition, she is survived by her mother Donna Decker and husband Floyd; stepsons Nate and Kyle Kelly, whom she called "her boys"; brother Brad Cox; mother-in-law Joanie Edwards and husband Wyman; father-in-law Richard Kelly and wife Carol; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She leaves three special nephews, Damon, Cody and Kyle; three great-nephews, Julian, Damon T. and Zane; and one great-niece, Elliana, to cherish her memory. Also, surviving are a special aunt and uncle in Nevada, Marie and Bill Sweetwood, along with cousins, Marla O'Donnell and Victor Phillips of Redmond, Ore.

Jaimi was preceded in death by her father George Cox in 2007.

She loved animals and had many in her life. She was blessed with many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to the time of service at the funeral home.

Private family burial services will be held.
