Gillette elected alternate American Angus Association Delegate

Karl Gillette of Cloverdale has been elected as an alternate delegate to the 127th Annual American Angus Association® Convention of Delegates, which will be held Nov. 15 in Louisville, Ky.

Gillette, a member of the American Angus Association with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Mo. is one of 333 Angus breeders who have been elected by fellow members to serve as an alternate state representative to the annual meeting.

Representing 43 states and Canada, the state delegates will participate in the business meeting and elect new officers and five directors to the American Angus Association board.

The annual event is held in conjunction with the annual banquet and the Super Point Roll of Victory Angus show, set for Nov. 13-16 during the North American International Livestock Exposition.

The American Angus Association has nearly 33,000 active members and is the largest beef breed organization in the world.
