  • YOU GO JON, GET THE CORRUPT OUT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. SOME OF THEM ARE NOT ANY BETTER THAN THE PRISONERS @ THE STATE FARM.

  • So you're going to let someone go. You vote on it Sept. 3 but give them another week to work?

  • What a joke, trying to get rid of all the full time guys so you can bring in all your deputy buddies to work a part time job and do nothing. Talk about corruption at its best. Wow, suprised all the good Cloverdale residents can't see whats going on. Maybe someone should call the media and let them know whats going on.

  • Let's See! ..... The Town Council voted to dismiss Mr. Walker at a Safety Board meeting, or did the Safety Board vote to advise the Town Council to terminate Mr. Walker? Safety Board, Utility Board, Town Council, what a joke! Who does what, they are all the same people so doesn't that mean they vote to advise themselves?

What did Walker do, upset one of the council, their buddies, or a family member? Did Mr. Chadd recommend this, or was he advised to recommend this?

I need to discuss this with myself so I can determine if I should advise myself, then I can take the (facts?) I have given to me so I can make an educated decision on my findings. C'dale continues to blaze new trails on the operations of government. Yackey you have done your job with a group that didn't need much help, I'm sure Avon regrets your absence.

  • same ole tune, expect this from c'dale. everytime they get a decent officer, it's time for them to go, they make the lazy officers look bad. try something new: all work hard and all looks good! this tradition started with another chief, no names mention cause everyone knows!

  • Representing Putnam county the only way they know how like clowns!

  • I've said it once & I'll say it a million times...

Cloverdale Police should have the largest, full- time staff of officers in Putnam County.

The Sheriff department essentially IS the police department there nowadays. Any night of the week there are more deputys in Cloverdale (I-70) than anywhere else in the county.

Cloverdale could/should be the "cash cow" for Putnam County. Such wasted potential...

It should be a warehousing/transportation Mecca, not the huge eyesore and political lower class area it has quickly become.

  • I personally have to wonder how Jon Chadd ever became a cop. I've been to his parties, and everyone there should have been imprisoned, Jon and myself included.

  • Tim Walker is a Christian man, and the corrupt town council and the almighty Chadd don't like that. Council members sue each other, they fire the best cops Cloverdale has, only for the cop to sue them and get their job back (no names here). Its all a bunch of political garbage. Leave the cops alone and let them do their jobs and maybe Stardust Hills wouldn't have a major drug and crime problem. Also, Putnam County, get a juevinile system and get these teen punks dealing and committing the crimes off the streets. Kind of hard for the police to do their jobs and make Putnam County a safer place to call home when their hands are tied. I hope Walker sues them, wins and comes back and takes their job. Walker and Hallom are the best cops Cloverdale has and they need to be left alone. We will be a mini Indy before it is all done if it continues the way it has for years. Crime will be out of control. Go by the police station any time of day. You will be amazed at how many cop cars are sitting parked, yet crime is happening as they sit.

  • "maybe Stardust Hills wouldn't have a major drug and crime problem"

Got any facts to back that up? I sure haven't seen it. Just as many problems, well, more in the surrounding area. Too many people with too much time making poor choices. I am concerned about town government and public safety.

  • I wonder who Mr. Chadd is going to hire for this position? I bet it's whoever Steve tells him to hire!

  • AMEN wineethupooh 2! this "town council/safety board" is a JOKE!

  • I AGREE WITH WINEETHEPOOH2, I DO NOT LIVE IN CLOVERDALE, BUT AM QUITE FAMILIAR WITH WALKER AND HALLAM, OUR PLACES WERE JUST STARTING TO GET CLEANED UP FROM DRUGS, WHEN THEY WERE LET GO. YOU BETTER KEEP THEM CLOVERDALE, BECAUSE THAT`S THE ONLY FIGHT YOU HAVE, AGAINST DRUGS AND VIOLENCE. WISH YOU BOTH WERE STILL HERE!

  • So, what buddy of Fenwick is being hired in his place?

  • Cloverdale is dumb

  • So, Mr. Walker, you apparently irritated someone on one of the many Boards/Council Cloverdale has set up. So many hands in the pot, it's bound to happen. You know they don't like people who follow the law, shame on you!
