Putnam County Sheriff's Department

* Sept. 7, 3:57 p.m.: Sarah Holloway, 19, Greencastle, was southbound on US 231 in a 2001 Chevrolet Lumina. Jamie Barrand, 40, Greencastle, driving a 2001 Saturn L300, was stopped at the crest of a hill attempting to turn left into a driveway. Holloway did not notice Barrand's vehicle was stopped until too late, and made a quick right turn, striking the right rear bumper of Barrand's vehicle before going head on into a power pole.

Both drivers were transported by Operation Life to Putnam County Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Jerry's towed both vehicles. Estimated damage $5,001-$10,000.

* Sept. 16, 5:41 p.m.: Nicole G. Voege, 23, Greencastle, was northbound on U.S. 231 in a 1999 Chrysler 300M and slowed down to make a right turn onto CR 200N. Coni J. Harrison, 60, Coatesville, was also traveling north in a 1997 Dodge 2500 Custom Van and could not stop in time to avoid hitting Voege's vehicle. Voege's vehicle came to rest on 200N, while Harrison's vehicle traveled about 50 more feet on 231, crossing over the east side ditch, going up an embankment and rolling over one time and landing upright on the other side of the guardrail.

Voege, who is eight months pregnant, was taken to Putnam County Hospital by Operation Life fore evaluation.

Seniour's towed Voege's vehicle. Kenny's towed Harrison's vehicle. Damage $5,001-$10,000.

* Sept. 16, 5:59 p.m.: Michael Flinspach, 30, Bloomington, driving a 2000 Ford, said he got struck by the 1998 Dodge Caravan of Judson Huber, 27, Greencastle, when Flinspach passed him on Plessinger's Hill. Flinspach said he tried to get Huber to stop, but Huber continued driving and pulled into Putnam County Jail to report the accident.

Huber stated Flinspach had passed him south of US 40. Huber said when he came to the Plessinger's Hill passing zone, he began passing vehicles. He passed Flinspach, but said when the road narrowed, Flinspach sped up to pass on the right, striking his vehicle.

Damage $1,001-$2,500.

* Sept. 17, 7:55 a.m.: Anthony S. Monnett, 35, Cloverdale, was southbound on Lafayette Street in Cloverdale in a 1997 Chevrolet 1500 and had stopped at the Market Street intersection. Christopher D. Arnold, 18, Quincy, was eastbound on Market Street in a 2000 GMC Sierra and also stopped at the intersection and was struck on the right side by Arnold's vehicle. Arnold said the windows on his vehicle were dew covered, and he had failed to use his windshield wipers. Because of the dew and rising sun, he did not observe Monnett's vehicle and proceeded into the intersection.

Damage $5,001-$10,000.

Robert Keith Bussing, 46, no city listed: Public intoxication, probation violation, Sept. 17, 10:29 a.m.

Brian Keith Dixie, 33, Crawfordsville: Domestic battery, battery, Sept. 19, 1:26 a.m.

Kimberley D. Eldridge, 41, Fillmore: Public intoxication, disorderly conduct disturbing the peace, Sept. 19, 9:24 p.m.

Amy Dawn Hutcheson, 35, Greencastle: Domestic battery, battery, Sept. 19, 1:58 a.m.

Daniel Rice Sanders, 31, Greencastle: Invasion of privacy, Sept. 18, 12:43 a.m.

Paul Treadwell, 39, Greencastle: Battery, Sept. 16, 10:20 p.m.

John Joseph Veltry, 42, Greencastle: Battery, Sept. 18, 1 a.m.
