DPU Jazz Ensemble plans concert

The sounds of the DePauw Jazz Ensemble will resonate in Kresge Auditorium on Sept. 30.

The program begins at 7:30 p.m. in the University's Judson and Joyce Green Center of the Performing Arts and is presented free of admission charge.

The Jazz Ensemble will perform selections from classic bands led by Buddy Rich, Miles Davis and Count Basie, as well as contemporary arrangements of compositions by Pat Metheny and Horace Silver. Also contributing a composition for the concert is the ensemble's new director, Shawn Salmon.
