Patsy Joan King, 70, of Greencastle passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010.
She was born on July 11, 1940 in Bainbridge to Maurice and Olive Whitaker Gibbs.
Mrs. King had been employed at P.R. Mallory, DePauw and Asbury Towers. She was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Donald Lee King; children, Pastor Kevin Bonafacious and wife Connie of Christopher, Ill., Kim Bonafacious and companion Pam Weems of Woodlawn, Ill., Donald Lee King, Jr. and companion Linda Purcell of Plainfield, Kelley Kelley and husband Larry of Greencastle, Darby King and fiancÚ Samantha Humphress of Greencastle, Dustin King and companion Emily Strickland of Greenfield; brother, James Kirby and wife Teresa of Poland; sisters, Virginia Washburn of Terre Haute, Kay Keyt and husband Larry of Bainbridge, and Nina Boller and husband Ray of Bainbridge; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her parents and a son, Scott Franklin King preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at Abundant Life Baptist Church, 822 West U.S. Highway 40, Putnamville, with Pastor Jerry Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday.
