GREENCASTLE -- The Putnam County Senior Health Fair is set for Tuesday.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

Attendees with Medicare Part B cards will be able to get free flu shots.

Musical performers will include Gary Daniels and Francie Bond. Treasures on the Square will provide food, including barbecue, ham and beans and homemade pies.

Attendees will also have a chance to take home 25 door prizes or cash prizes. A custom butchered whole hog will be raffled off.

The fair is a great time for local seniors to socialize.

"It gives them time together in a very pleasant atmosphere," said Putnam County Senior Center Director Kyle Hutchison.

The lead sponsor for the event will be Summerfield Health Care. Other sponsors include Comfort Keepers, Putnam County Hospital, Case Chiropractic, Hearing Care Professionals, Beltone Hearing Care Centers, Indiana Homecare Plus, The Waters of Greencastle, Senior Solutions, Universal American, Hickory Creek at Sunset, Advocate Hospice, Mill Pond Health Campus, Humana Marketpoint, Nightingale Home Healthcare, Asbury Towers, Autumn Glen Active Community, Hayes, Murphy, Sharp and Brackney Insurance, Putnam County Republican Committee, Putnam County Democratic Committee, The Village of Avon, Curves, Merle Norman of Crawfordsville, Whisper Hearing Centers, Visiting Angels, Experience Works, Southwest Funding, Southern Care, Weight Balancing System, Vista Care and Fresenius Medical Care.
