ROCKVILLE -- The Cloverdale Clovers fell to the Rox of Rockville in three sets by the scores of 10-25, 11-25 and 12-25 to go 9-8 on the season.

Leading the Clovers in points was Bristy Skiles with four points. Bradanne Toney had five kills, one block and seven digs for the Clovers.

Breegan Andersen had 10 digs and three points. Mariah Oetken had three kills and two blocks while Holly McCammon and Taylor Jones had two kills each. Skiles had four sets assists and Stacia Shepherd had three.

"We were just out -layed tonight," head coach Kathy Moore said. "Their big girl just hit over the top of us and proved why she is one of the top hitters in the state. She was on tonight and we couldn't dig her hits.

"I think we learned a little about defending against an overwhelming force and I hope we can carry that lesson with us as we head into sectionals in a few weeks," she added.
