Troy Dean McCallie

Troy Dean McCallie, 45, Cloverdale, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 at the Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle.

He was born on Dec. 6, 1964 in Greencastle and was the son of John Berry and Diann Taylor McCallie.

He was a 1987 Graduate of Cloverdale High School and had been employed at Lear Corporation, Shenandoah/IAC, DePauw University and South Putnam School Corporation.

He is survived by his mother Diann McCallie of Cloverdale; his brothers, John Bruce McCallie and wife Jennifer of Greencastle and Tracy L. McCallie and wife Angela of Cloverdale; his nieces Cortney Branam and husband Richard of Greencastle and Ashley McCallie of Cloverdale; his nephews, Cory McCallie and fiancé Randi Schneider of Greencastle and Zackary McCallie of Cloverdale; his great-niece, Kyley Branam of Greencastle; and great-nephew, Austen Branam of Greencastle.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Pastor Larry Rempke officiating. Burial will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his father John Berry McCallie, his sister Brooke McCallie and his brother Brandon McCallie.
