Straw poll results: Week 2

A straw poll for the 2010 General Election has been launched by the Banner Graphic. The survey can be found at surveymonkey.com/s/bannergraphic.

The poll will open 8 a.m. each Tuesday morning and close at noon each Thursday through Oct. 29. Results from the poll will be published each Friday until the election.

A straw poll or straw vote is a vote with nonbinding results. Straw polls provide important interactive dialogue among movements within large groups, reflecting trends like organization and motivation.

This poll is not scientific. Results are provided as entertainment -- and as an indication of voter opinion for those using the Banner Graphic Web site.
