Putnam County Sheriff's Department

* Oct. 13, 3:12 p.m.: Tyler Will, 24, Columbus, was traveling westbound on CR 125S (West Walnut) in a 2003 Dodge Durango when he came around a curve and saw a deer in the road. He said he hit the brakes to miss the deer and lost control of the SUV due to wet pavement, causing him to roll.

While on the scene, Will said he was becoming dizzy and requested an ambulance to check him out. He was transported to Putnam County Hospital by Operation Life.

Towed by Seniour's. Damage $5,001-$10,000.

* Oct. 14, 10;51 a.m.: Brian K. French, 42, Birch Tree, Mo., was westbound on I-70 in a 2000 Peterbilt semi when he attempted to pass Pearl D. Niehaus, 81, Noblesville, in a 2007 Mazda M61. When French looked in his mirror, he saw a sliver vehicle and thought he had cleared Niehaus. However, there were two silver vehicles in the lane, and when he moved back into the right lane, he struck Niehaus, causing her to lose control.

Neihaus' vehicle towed by Seniour's. Damage $2,501-$5,000.

* Oct. 14, 12:02 p.m.: Cole Snyder, 18, Roachdale, was stopped southbound at the stoplight at US 231 and US 36 in a 2004 Pontiac. He said there was farm equipment in the left turn lane, and that it was somewhat in the southbound lane. There was also a semi ahead of the farm equipment in the turn lane, but Snyder said it appeared the semi was going to go straight rather than turn. He said he slowed to see what the semi was going to do and was rear ended by Bernard Bulerdick, 52, Clinton, in a 2005 Mac dump truck.

Bullerdick said Snyder started to go and then stopped, at which time his vehicle struck Snyder's.

Damage $2,501-$5,000.
