Greencastle Mayor Sue Murray signed a proclamation Tuesday (Oct. 19) making Greencastle a part of National Red Ribbon Week from Oct. 23- 31. For the week, people can wear a red ribbon to show support for a drug-free city, county and nation. PIE Coalition, which stands for Prevention, Intervention and Education, is one of the groups participating in the event. Pictured are (clockwise starting at center bottom) Murray, Cloverdale middle school student Ethan Baker, Cloverdale School nurse Lisa Baker, Greencastle police chief Tom Sutherlin, South Putnam guidance counselor Becky Brothers, PIE board member Hazel Proctor, PIE Coordinator Dawn Wade and youth PIE board member Chauncey Baker.
