Nazarene church hosts trunkathon

GREENCASTLE -- The Greencastle Church of the Nazarene is inviting families from throughout the community to come take part in its trunkathon from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 30.

At the trunkathon, also known as trunk-or-treat, church members will decorate the trunks of cars and put candy in the back for children to come around and collect candy from the different cars.

Besides bringing smiles to the faces of the kids, the event will be a way for the community to see recent additions to the church, located at 580 S. CR 100E (Round Barn Rd.).
