Hal E. Miller, 73, Cincinnati, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010.

He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by his wife of 50 years, Constance "Connie" Miller née Wright; his children Alison Miller Flint and Jens Andersen Miller; his grandchildren Ariane Berning Raber, Sydney Berning Certain, Kyle Miller and Brandi Miller; and his six great-grandchildren.

His creative spirit, quiet integrity and unique humor added richness to our lives.

Born in Bainbridge to Harley E. Miller and Helen L. Miller née Anderson, Hal graduated from Greencastle High School in 1954 then attended DePauw University, where he was a member of Delta Upsilon. He moved to Cincinnati and graduated from the College of Design, Architecture and Art at the University of Cincinatti in 1962.

He worked for several local Cincinnati architectural firms until his retirement from DNK Architects in 2007.

A longtime resident of College Hill neighborhood in Cincinnati, Hal was an active member of both Christ's Community in College Hill and the College Hill Forum.
